The Canyon to Cosmos Tour combines everything we love about Southern Utah into a single adventure. Ride through stunning Sand Dunes in a UTV, explore the winding sandstone walls of Peekaboo Slot Canyon, carve down towering dunes on a sandboard, watch the sun sink below the horizon from a secluded viewpoint, and finish the night beneath some of the darkest skies in America.
Your adventure begins with an off-road journey into Peekaboo Slot Canyon, where you’ll wander through narrow passageways sculpted by wind and water over thousands of years. From there, we’ll head deeper into the dunes for an exhilarating sandboarding session and a sunset experience at one of our favorite hidden spots.
As daylight fades, we’ll return to the trailhead where a campfire, fresh s’mores, and the night sky await. Our guides will help you explore distant planets, star clusters, and galaxies while sharing stories about the cosmos above.
From sandstone canyons to starlit skies, this is Southern Utah at its absolute best.

What’s included in the Canyon to Cosmos experience?
It’s a full evening built around three Southern Utah highlights: Peekaboo Slot Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes at
sunset, then stargazing at Peekaboo Trailhead with high-powered telescopes, an iPad sky map, and s’mores to close
out the night.
What if it’s cloudy on the night of our tour?
Please contact us in advance if you’re concerned about weather. We will do our best to work with you on rescheduling if conditions affect the stargazing experience.
What time does the tour start and end?
Tour times vary by season to align with sunset. Please check our booking calendar for current availability, or contact us and we’ll find the right night for you.
Do I need astronomy experience to enjoy the stargazing?
Not at all. Your guides handle the telescopes and explain everything as you go. Our iPad sky map makes it easy to explore on your own too. Whether you can name the constellations or have never looked through a telescope before, you’ll leave with a new appreciation for the night sky.
